Travelistic is an online platform hosting videos from travelers. Still in start-up and based in New York, users are invited to create profiles and upload content from their travels whilst also tagging it virtual to the integrated Google Map system (which also allows other users to search via place).

Frustration over being unable to find brand artwork has resulted in a Kiwi company building a unique and free online resource for designers and brand owners.
LogoSauce was launched last month to provide the global design community with a place for logo designers to showcase their designs, admire others, comment and discuss logo design, and gain inspiration. It has already attracted a solid following with members in the UK, Romania and the US, as well as New Zealand.

Nikon looked through Flickr, picked out a few great photographers, and sent them D80s, which is a really nice DSLR. They then used the photos they shot in a few advertisements and created a Flash website detailing each of the photographers, who range from rank amateurs to professional snappers.
Flickr gets some recognition as a incubator of talent, Nikon gets some good will, and cool photographers get nice cameras.
